Relaxing weekend in San Diego.
-Attended Julianne's 2nd cousin's tennis tournament in Point Loma
-Celebrated Doug's birthday at Phil's BBQ with Victoria's homemade apple pie!
-Enjoyed a nice home teaching group dinner with new friends in the ward
-Julianne was soaked in the hose by the older kids and loved being all muddy!
-Uplifted by little brother Brad's weekly missionary letter on Sunday night. Always inspiring and motivational to get out and spread the word.
-Wishing family was closer to spend Sunday nights together. Missing that right now!

AZ Birthday & LB Aquarium

We met up with Kurt's parents, sister, and Julianne's cousins in Long Beach to check out the aquarium. Although it was a hot day we had a blast seeing sharks, seals, jellyfish, and birds.


While in Arizona we were able to celebrate Julianne's birthday with my parents and two sets of great grandparents. She is a lucky girl to have three sets of greats in her life. She commanded everyone's attention playing with all the balloons and diving into the banana cake and vanilla ice cream. The Westergards, Petersons and Bradshaws also came for the fun! We sure miss them and want them to come visit us here in San Diego!

La Jolla

We had several celebrations for our sweet Julianne for her 1st birthday! I have taught her young to stretch it out and celebrate the whole month. These pictures are on her actual birthday in La Jolla wearing the cute outfit her New Mexican Aunt Alyssa sent her. Julianne kept running towards the ocean wanting to go swim! She is like her daddy and always wants to be in the water. She loves the sand in her toes and the waves crashing on her. I couldn't have asked for a happier, sweeter, more lovable daughter that I get to have as my little shadow. I love spending my days with her by my side and I love watching her develop and learn and grow. I just wish it went by a little slower:(

Happy Birthday Kurt! I am so happy you were born 29 years ago in Mexico City. We love you! We are going to make the last year of your 20's the best yet!

Love being in Arizona with family and seeing good friends! ALthough it was difficult to leave Jules with her first babysitter I did manage to have fun with my family and especially my sister.
Highlights of the weekend so far:
-shopping
-Cardinals football game
-Yogurtland, Rosa's, Vitos
-Mom being funny - accidentally calling the neighbor boy and asking if it was Victoria's Secret
-Celebrating birthdays - Drewski's b-day and Jules again - banana cake and ice cream
-seeing my BFF Kelsee
-Nice hot weather (totally kidding - I think I am already a California girl)
-Date night with good friends (the Help and Cafe Rio)
